Some if not most people on their are wearing weaves and lace front wigs, lying about how their hair grew so long in a matter of weeks, and how their hair will be growing down to their ankles by year's end, and fussing who said what about the Bible, pure craziness!!!!


I just dont get where she got this idea from. If we were laying around with wigs and weaves, how come we would have long threads on how to self trim, techniques on how to self relax, and what the newest products are. We wouldnt need to be talking about that!

I really doubt we would all spend 5 dollars just to BS each other.

A)you're obviously too ignorant to take the time to educate yourself on the dynamics of AA haircare irrespective of where the info can be found
B) you're bald and not by choice

I do believe in free speech but listen up Beaver and listen up real good.......please refrain from making such disparaging remarks about LHCF because PLEASE BELIEVE the hair is REAL on the site. I don't know this woman, nor do i know her experience on this site, so i cannot say she is a "hater". "bitter" or "crazy" (You know i am always diplomatic and trying to make sense of everything). I cannot be bothered trying to put her down for whatever random reason there is. To each his own???ohwell: I guess she gotta do what she has to do. To be honest... i am neither shocked nor surprised about the christian comment. I love y'all... but we often do not apply diplomacy when we get into heated threads. Don't you make me bring out the hens again.

I honestly don't think she's a paying member. I could tell that right off the bat. The Christianity forum is a public one that anyone can view. If she was actually a paying member, there would have been a LOT more things she would have tried to use & twist to show how 'bad' LHCF really is.... and all she could come up with was 'fake' hair and the Bible... she was REALLY stretching to pull something out... but it didn't work and won't work. LHCF is a VERY popular site and for very good reason. Nothing anyone will say (and I guess that's their right?) will stop people from coming here and realizing what a jewel and blessing it is.

Shoot, even people who have said they 'hate' this site, have been banned, and so forth STILL come back-- whether it is to just lurk or post. We just need to do like Jay-Z said and "brush the dirt off our shoulders."

Plus the majority of members on here have very detailed fotki albums which clearly show the hair growing out of our heads.

Ladies...if what I've seen in here is weave hair... I give the highest props to the master weaver because weaves never look this good.

Wow, after reading this I'm shocked and within the one year that I've been on LHCF I must admit to you all that my hair becoming healthy first. I know that there has been quite a bit of growth. Although its not down to the middle of my back yet it is so much more healthier since I joined this board. I don't care won't anybody says but, this was the best $5.00 I ever spent and I'm so excited to renew my membership. I appreciate the friendliness of the ladies and the hair care tips that many have passed along the way. I think people should spend more time reading and actually doing their hair and you will see a vast difference in your hair.

I know that when I started this board I had just cut my hair and in one year it has grown quite a bit. I wish I documented my fotki well because, all of the hair care pictures on my hard drive shows that my hair is becoming healthy. I look at fotkis all day long and growing hair midback, tail bone doesn't happen overnight.

I've watched and seen people who have hair that was my starting length and in a few years they are mid back so yes ladies - LHCF is here to stay! That was one bad review and with as many members as we have we are here to stay! Power to www.longhaircareforum.com (LHCF)!

Here's what I think happened:

1. Woman thought that she was taking care of hair, but hair was just not growing.

2. Woman comes to this board and sees all the long hair.

3. Woman tries to wash own hair, it does not work well.

4. Woman does NOT try again, slams LHCF forever, because she is jealous of everyone's hair. Says everyone has a wig out of anger.

I for one do not wear wigs. It's not because I hate wigs, it's just because I don't want to wear one. So there. Anyway, this is the best $5 I've ever spent.

"I have read this book a couple times and it can be used for a reference if you should have any questions. Look, it is a quick read. Cathy is just a consumer who got smart and educated about learning about what makes our black hair grow. Sure it's common sense-eat right, sleep right, excerise, drink water, and so on so forth. This book help me so much about why my hair was so dry and itchy all the time. I wasn't moisturizing my hair at all. Well Duh! Now I dont have to be under dermatologist care or cost to deal with dryness and itch. I highly recommend this book. Hey if cost a factor, you can check it out at the public library like I did................ "

Wow. VERY random! I notified Amazon that this was an "inappropriate review" since part of it had nothing to do with the item being reviewed anyway.

Besides, there's nothing wrong with wearing weaves & lacefronts. The ladies here who wear them admit to it, and don't try to pass it off as "their hair". They wear them as a protective style. What's so bad about that? Who here has lied about their hair growing 12 inches in week? Come on now.
