Want to dye my hair burgundy w/ henna

my natural hair color is a dark brown/ black. is it possible to dye my hair with henna to get it a dark burgundy color? if so where can i purchase the henna?

I think you can add beet juice to dye it...hmmm...might turn out pretty.

I know!!! I'm really wanting a burgundy color for the summer. I heard you can use koolaid, but that seems kind of suspect.

with shoulder length hair I only needed one pack... ya only mix it with hot water

Mixing hibiscus powder with henna will give you REALLY burgundy hair. Make sure you buy it fresh from somewhere like FNWL or moutainroseherbs.
