weave is busted.....

My weave is coming loose and I have to go out tonight.

Also, it seems like the more I wash it the lighter the weave gets. I am wearing EP hair. I thought it was supposed to last a year. It has only been 5 months. I could probably get some more good use out of it just have to re work the style or something.

try using some hair pins to let it hold in place and put in a bun or some kind of up do so you wont be afraid of it coming out

I second using hair pins to keep it in place. How long have you been wearing it? It shouldn't be coming out like that. That EP hair should last at least a year. Whenever I washed mine esp in the 3rd month I had it in, I would really take my time to flat iron it and put some loose curls, and it would look like I just got it done.

For what I remember, EP uses some type of fabric dye to color the hair so the color does eventually begin to wash away.

When I wore weaves that got loose, I would try to get a small bobby pin and sort of weave it in and out of the track and my hair. Temporary fix. I wouldn't leave it that way too long though. It can't be good on your hair.
