We all have bad hair days at one time or other. Tell me about a time when you woke up and your curls were not participating. Maybe you had to go to work, a dinner, date, wedding etc. What did you do? I know some women tell me they put on wigs. Personally, I will do one big ringed ponytail and sometimes a head wrap with cloths or scarfs. What is your safety zone? Peace

Right now it's french rolls. Once on each side. Fast and you dont have to be stretched either.

Thank God it's long enough for a puff because that's exactly what I throw it in if my twists or braids are not fully dry when I wake up or it just doesn't look right.

This is exactly why I waited until my hair was long enough for puff before I BC'ed. You can't go wrong with a puff

Good old puff when first BCd.
Now that in grazing APL, I can do a bun with a little pompadour in the front to spice it up.

A bun with some hair in front out and curled with gel; a slicked back bun; or a puff

My hair is tightly coiled and as long as there is a shower, conditioner, gel and oil, I'm good.

Pull out a good ol Wig....because I am style challenged

On a bad curl day, I smooth the front of my hair back and wear it half up, half down.

Yes, I used to do the head band thing when my hair was neck length. It saved my life. Peace

That is true. The longer my hair grows the more fluffy ponytails are a life saver. Peace

Messy bun with a headband or some other pretty hair accessory

Puff, bun, or two flat twist. Sometimes a combo two flat twist with a low bun or puff.

I usually just put on a headband and go with it. The laziness is real.:look: But if it's really bad, like my cowash fail last week, then I'll stick it in a ponytail or puff with a wide headband.

Buns, ponytails, knit cap, or some type of updo.

A slicked back bun has saved me on more than one bad hair day!

A bun + gel. That's the only way to salvage my hair when it's looking a hot mess.
