I use a clarifying shampoo mixed with baking soda, lime juice and apple cidar vinegar. But me careful you might have an explosion after shaking it up:lol: :look: If I am CO washing I use VO5 lime and kiwi for clarifying. It does a great job.

Do we have a chemist in the house?? ;)

Elucence Clarifying Shampoo-I  this shampoo-My hair definitely feels clean, but not at all stripped.

Pantene Pro-V Purity Clarifying Shampoo...works amazingly well, but it doesn't dry my hair out at all!

Clarifying shampoo (Trevor Sorbie). Only because I'm too lazy to have tried the other methods yet.

I used to use Neutrogena for normal hair. It did a great job on my relaxed hair, but I can't use it for transitioning. It makes detangling a B****! I started using an ACV rinse and it does a lot better.

naturallady, how do you do your baking soda. Do you just make it into a paste and then apply it? Or do you put the baking soda on dry and then rinse? Or do you make it into more of a solution than a paste? What's your recipe?

I want to try the baking soda and see how it does.

I use Suave daily clarifying shampoo. It works really well for me. My hair feels clean and is shiny afterwards. I'll be giving ACV a try though.

I use Suave Clarifying shampoo mixed with a lil CON (as to not strip my hair). I had a bad experience with an ACV rinse so U'm scared to try it again. OT: NaturalLady your avatar is too cute!

That's what I use too, love it!!!

lemon juice. it clarified the H%ll outta my hair.

I use Sally's Aloe Rid. It has made a huge difference in my hair and how my other products react. I'm lovin' it.

I use John Frieda's total clarity clarifiying shampoo. But I just may have to give that baking soda a whirl!

All I do is put the baking soda in a big cup (no measuring- usually about 3 or 4 big spoon scoops is what it probably would equal to) and fill it with warm water and take it in the shower with me and dump it over my head while kinda rubbing my hair together (careful...don't wanna tangle!). Thats it! After you try it, lemme know how it works!

Thank you BerrySweet!

John Frieda Total Clarity Clarifying Shampoo or Razac Superior Cleansing Shampoo.

Right now, nexxus aloe rid but in the next few months I may be changing my clarifier if it gets hard to find.

Why clarify? I've never done it and my hair seems OK.
