What do you use to clarify?

vo5 kiwi and lime squeeze conditioner with real lemon juice, i don't need shampoo anymore.

I use Kiwi Lime too. Never thought about adding lemon juice. I forgot to add Clarifying conds to the poll. BTW Den, those braids are off the chains girl!!!

I use a clarifying shampoo mixed with baking soda, lime juice and apple cidar vinegar. But me careful you might have an explosion after shaking it up If I am CO washing I use VO5 lime and kiwi for clarifying. It does a great job.

you should try it with the lemon juice, my hair turns out clean. it removes all greaseness, smells and lint from hair. thanks for the compliment

I used to use Neutrogena for normal hair. It did a great job on my relaxed hair, but I can't use it for transitioning. It makes detangling a B****! I started using an ACV rinse and it does a lot better.

naturallady, how do you do your baking soda. Do you just make it into a paste and then apply it? Or do you put the baking soda on dry and then rinse? Or do you make it into more of a solution than a paste? What's your recipe?

I want to try the baking soda and see how it does.

I use Suave daily clarifying shampoo. It works really well for me. My hair feels clean and is shiny afterwards. I'll be giving ACV a try though.

I want to try the baking soda and see how it does.

All I do is put the baking soda in a big cup (no measuring- usually about 3 or 4 big spoon scoops is what it probably would equal to) and fill it with warm water and take it in the shower with me and dump it over my head while kinda rubbing my hair together (careful...don't wanna tangle!). Thats it! After you try it, lemme know how it works!
