Surge are the products that are listed in our sponsor box. The spray (which most people use) is used to promote healthy hair growth and as a detangler conditioner. The other products are to benefit the hair as well.

If you have not tried Surge (apparently not, huh?), you need to RUN, not walk (or better yet, jump in the car and DRIVE

) to the BSS (sorry RIP,...that's "beauty supply store"

) and get some TODAY! This stuff really works to grow in your hair! After lurking on this site for awhile, I got so tired of hearing about SURGE that I had to buy some for myself. (mind you, I was still not a member) But this stuff worked so well that that was ONE of the reason that I joined LHCF. I was like, "These ladies must know what they're talking about because I never would've heard of SURGE were it not for them!"

I was just kidding about the RIP VAN WINKLE comments

What is the actual name of the spray that everyone uses for growth?

Well, I've been surging for about 3 weeks, and I swear that it works! While it didn't really thicken up my edges, it did stop shedding, and it did make my hair grow faster.

The Plus 14 spray is a good detangler too!

Hi Keishagirl,

I notice that you weave. Which I have just started doing. Question do you spray the Plus 14 on your hair that is braided up underneath.

Also do you relax while your hair is in the weave?? What is the healthiest way to use a weave to grow hair out?
