. . . that you learned from being here on LHCF?

While I have picked up a lot of good habits (low manipulation, baggying, dc-ing, protein treatments, etc.), I think the single best tip I've picked up at LHCF that has made the largest difference in my hair is drinking ACV. (I mix 2 tsp with 2-3 tsp of honey in distilled water. It's my nightly treat.)

What about you?

Rollersetting!!!!

***honorable mention***
Letting the pro's do my touch-ups

No heat..protective styling comes in at a close 2nd place

It's a tie for me between co-washing and moisturizing.

Stop using the curling iron and rollerset instead

Quitting relaxers.

Not letting the hairstylist trim just because a certain number of weeks has gone by--examining my own ends and doing a S&D.

Thank you ladies!!

I gave up the flat iron and started using Caruso Steam Rollers. I used to use flat irons almost... gasp... everyday :nono: Its only been one month but I see a difference in my hair already.

Soaking in knowledge from this site and applying it.

LHCF has taught me so many great techniques, but the single best thing I've done for my hair is paying attention to the porosity. Ever since I have been more consistent with normalizing my pH level, my hair has never behaved so well.

Keeping up with regular applications of Roux Porosity Control, my Dominican rinses, and any other products that help the cutlicle lay flat, have all helped keep my porous hair tame. And the added bonus is no tangles, and no problematic breakage.

going natural! (well i'm still transitioning but I think it will be one of the best decisions I made for my hair once I'm done)

ACV rinses......really soothes my scalp and makes my hair feel so soft.

Honorable Mention: warming up my conditioners with oils

Keeping manipulation low.

Adding protein to my hair after rinsing the relaxer and before neutralizing. That is valuable info!

Hmmm...... it's hard to narrow down just ONE thing that has worked the best. Also, I have just started my hair journey so I am still feeling things out. But if I had to name one thing, then it would be moisturizing.
