My favorite hair color:

On my self: Jet black, blue black or burgundy black.

On other people: Red. Preferrably fiery red. True blue red head. I love red hair!!! I also like to see people with unconventional colors (think purple, pink, green, and my personal favorite: blue.) shout out to rainbow curls

I don't know why I like red hair ,I just do. I used to wish I had red hair but the kind of red hair I want would seriously clash with my skin tone. My coworker just had a baby girl and she has the most beautiful deep red hair!!! I want to steal her!!! Just kidding!

Once I accepted the fact that red hair just wasn't going to work for me, I started exploring other colors. I found that I like black almost as much as I like red.

I love red hair, too. I'm always staring at people with red hair and wishing I had it! (Maybe that's one of the reasons I like henna so much.) I like many of the variations of red. I recently saw the most beautiful auburn hair in someone's fotki.

Black is a great color, but I'm not sure it works on me. I once dyed my hair blue-black and no one really liked it. They said it made me look washed out. I might try it again one day, though, with indigo. I think burgundy black is BEAUTIFUL and that might be interesting to try one day, too.

Of course, I LOVE blue hair and purple hair and all of the fun colors. Don't see them so much anymore though. There was a time when it seemed like everyone was using Manic Panic.

Well my hair is naturally black... almost jet black. On me I prefer light light brown with light blonde highlights. Think MzCarmelicious (sp)

On others I love to see deep red hair. Just something about it. There was a member here that had the most beautiful dark black-reddish hair-- Webby. It was to die for. Also Western has a nice rich red colour.

I prefer Blue Black on myself. My mom hates it when I wear my hair jet black but I love it. I love red hair with black on top or on bottom. When my hair reaches the length I desire I might do jet black with red underneath...if I get up the nerve.

My best friend dyed her hair blonde, pink, and black once it looked so good on her. Also I love silver hair on older women. Grey hair doesnt run in my family but if it did I wouldnt cover it up hoping that it would come out that silvery color

On other people: dark colors if they look damaged and otherwise either dark brown with a honey or caramel hi-lighy (nothing streaky, just sunkissed) or black with a warm reddist undertone

Silver hair runs in my family. The few grey hairs that my mom has are silver and my aunt (her older sister) has a head full of shiny silver hair naturally.
I'm looking forward to going silver grey. I'm gonna cut off all my hair (something I've never done) and go short.

On myself I prefer black hair. It's my natural color and I think anything else with my skin tone and eyes would just look strange.

On others, it really depends on their skin tone, eyes... Honestly, I think most people look best with their natural hair color. I'm all for self expression and I've seen some people with gorgeous hi-lights or dye jobs that I never could have guessed weren't natural. But in general, natural color looks best.

I do love to see natural red heads, though. There's something so striking about a head full of deep red hair. But I think I'd look ridiculous and really fake if I dyed mine, so I leave it alone.

I like black but people say it doesn't look right. I got a lot of compliments when I had the honey-light blond highlights

On myself I love espresso. The darkest chocolaty brown you can get before it becomes black.

On others I like a variety, from gorgeous silvery gray to honey blonde, it all depends.

On others, depends on skin color..... my sister is lighter-skinned than me, and I just love light hair on her (brownish, that is). Although her natural hair is black, i think she looks fantastic as a brunette. She has dreadlocks, btw.

Jet black (only on super good hair days)
Dark turquoise/teal

On other people:
Natural/natural looking redheads (like Bree from Desperate Housewives)
Jet black
Chocolate brown
Bright red
Deep purple
Any bright colour if it suits them

I love my own, natural hair color of dark brown and auburn. My hair gets a little lighter in the summer too from the sun. My recent henna experience was to keep my own hair color while enjoying the henna benefits. Black looks very harsh on me although I love it on others. I have a feeling I would look good in dark auburn, not too red though.

On others:

I see black women look gorgeous in a wide range of colors, from very light browns to reds to black and blue-black. When it compliments their skin tone, it looks very, very good.

i like rich colors whatever the shade...I cant generalize what I like to see on ohter people as everyone has different tones. but if the hair is black, I like to see a shiny lustrous black. I dont like bluw black becasue most times it is dull if the hair is permanently colored like that. For brown, very chesnut and rich looking. For red I like red heads that have almost burgundy hair. Its very rare but Ive seen it on a few little girls.
