I'm curious to know what stylists think if they are reading this. I'm tempted to print this and anonymously mail copies to all my local black salons lol.

After that I couldn't find anyone to do my hair and keep it healthy. I even went to some Dominican salons people raved about and my hair threw a tantrum. I went to Hair Styling by Joseph's (that's where my stylist was trained before she opened her own shop), and they charged me $130 for a touch-up, condition and trim. And the relaxer they used burned me.
The last time I went to a stylist was a little over two years ago. I had just BCed a couple of months ago and I was going to be a bridesmaid at my cousin's wedding. The day of the wedding, I went to get my hair done. The lady burnt my hair to a crisp. While it was nice and straight and pulled back into a high bun for the event, my hair smelled like burnt grass for a week, despite my repeated washing and conditioning. I ended up with heat damaged ends all over my head and it took over a year to get rid of them. Not to mention she 
.My reasons:
Too much heat, too many styling tools, not wanting you to know products they use, then the BS of turning you away from the mirror while ripping through your hair and cutting off too much hair.
