what's a wide tooth comb?

Is it a comb where the teeth themselves are wide/thick like this:

or is a comb where the teeth are widely spaced like this:

thanks for the help. I had a wooden comb from the body shop. And the other day It was sitting on the counter and I noticed it had a curve in it... so I... well I decided to straighten it out by bending it the other way... and now I have two short wooden combs I dont know what kind is best for my hair

the first one's spacing is wayyyy to small.

now to pick between number 2 and 3. I'm kinda leaning toward number 3, with the 7 teeth, the 5 tooth one doesnt look lik it would do much

Wow, I've never seen combs with teeth that wide before. It definitely looks like it would do a great job at detangling though!

ITA. The last 2 are wide tooth combs. IMO, the term "wide tooth" refers to the space between the teeth.
