Which kind of headbands do you prefer?

I started to go to Claire's for a headband or two when I remembered some of you make your own headbands out of nylons. I have some plastic ones that squeeze my head and are very uncomfortable. Are homemade nylon ones the best to use for our hair or are there other good choices of headbands to wear?

I like nylon or spandex.

Yes-I make my own. If I see swim suite fabric or something with a smooth texture on sale, I buy a small piece and make a band and/or scrunchy. I use these instead of pins for my buns and twists. Pins break my hair.
