Well they're both the same price, which one would you reccomend and why, what where the results? And what are the ingredients in the nioxin vitamin

Thanx in advance

Nioxin. Progress pics in my album. I get 2 inches a month from it. Results not typical, but I've seen a lot of other success stories with Nioxin on this board.

I can't push Exotic Allure because I've never tried it, but I can def vouch for the Nioxin. :)

I have tried Exotic Allure and Nioxin. I discontined Exotic Allure since it wasn't doing much for my hair. I prefer Nioxin!! My hair is thicker and my hair growth is doing well.

Here are the ingredients:

Vitamin A 250 IU
Vitamin C 30 mg
vitamin D 200 IU
Vitamin B1 1.5 mg
Vitamin B2 1.7 mg
Niacin 25 mg
Vitamin B6 2 mg
Folic Acid 200 mcg
vitamin B12 6 mcg
Biotin 300 mcg
Pantothenic Acid 25 mg
Zinc 3 mg

Proprietary Blend 245 mg

Ladies remember you have to be consistent with these vitamins. From what I have heard and seen for myself is that is that you really won't notice any thickness or growth till like the third month. Then your hair takes off. I actually having been using it for over 6 months and it wasn't until I noticed previously thin areas behind my ears had thickened up and all of these 3-5 inch hairs all throughout my hair, that i remembered what the reviews on Nioxin said.

No, I haven't seen it in the uk thus far. However you can get it from ebay for a good price. Hth

I am pretty new at this and just wanted to say how much this forum helped me. I finally realized why my hair wasn't growing after reading through all the good tips you guys posted. I have a question though about vitamins. Have any of you guys tried Phytophanere vitamins? How is it compared to Nioxin?
Also I have braids right now and I am planning on getting a relaxer after removing them. Would it be a good idea to deep condition my hair before relaxer? Is Phytorelaxer as good as they say it is or would something like Mizani do? My hair is extremely dry. Wish me luck on my hair journey :)

I take the Nioxin Recharging Complex 2x per day, along with Futurebiotics Hair Skin & Nails vitamin, and Flaxseed capsules....... Its only been 3 weeks since I incorporated these vitamins (was previously taking Nexxus Vitatress 2x per day), so I'll update you all shortly.

I have been taking nioxin vits for almost three weeks now. The jury is still out. I am only taking one tablet a day. After I finish my first bottle of 30 I am getting more and will begin two a day.

I've taken both the Phytophanere and Nioxin Recharging. I got results with the Phyto and my hair responded well and looked really healthy. I did gain considerable length during that time but I can't say exactly how much. Of course I had to jump on the Nioxin bandwagon after I heard about the great results. I had two free bottles and was getting ready to throw them out since I had taken one thirty day supply with no results. I started taking them again after Edie's thread, 2 per day and I'm on day fifty and the results are excellent. I have hair growing in spots that were previously thin and my hair is much thicker. I plan on purchasing another 90 day bottle and will report my results when I finish. Nioxin is definitely a keeper.

I take Nioxin also and have been taking them for 2 months and my hair is definitely growing faster because when I was 6 weeks post relax I actually looked like I was 9 or 10 weeks. I just recently relaxed and was amazed with my growth. I take 2 pills a day and if indeed it is true that you will get 2 inches a month after 3 months of use. I can't wait to hit the 3 month mark. Nioxin is defintely a KEEPER...don't waste your money on Allure. I have tried Shen Min, The Real Super Hair Energizer (from the same site as Exotic Allure vitamins website) and they're nothing compared to Nioxin IMO...I am definitely staying with these vitamins. Shen Min is good also but not better than Nioxin...IMO:) I wanted to try Viviscal but I decided not to because Nioxin is working overtime so why mess up the program:)

I tried Exotic Allure and did not see much results. I have been on Nioxin for about 2 months, two per day (most days), and I have not noticed much results yet. I am going to do a progress check on Halloween to see if there is a difference when I do my own relaxer:eek: . I just like the fact that I don't have to take three pills a day like I did with EA.

I just got my Nioxin in the mail. I am going to start taking 2 a day to day and will post my progress next month. Does anyone take Nioxin and biotin together because I noticed there is only 300mcg of biotin in the Nioxin.

Yes, I take Nioxin as well as 7.5 mg of Biotin per day.

Well I've been on Nioxin since July. The back of my hair is the longest it's ever been as a natural. I'm at collarbone length (finally). I know that my hair is growing, but I can't tell if it's more than normal.

Right now Nioxin is the only vitamin I'm taking. I'll try to incorporate a One a Day vitamin for health reasons. I hope HOPE HOPE that I get 2 inches a month - that would be awesome and I would love to actually get 9-12 inches a year! Whew!
