I don't know:ohwell:

Something about hair that long freaks me out.

I don't know why, but it reminds me of dead people. You know how they say your hair keeps growing for years after you die?
:lachen: :lachen: :lachen: :lachen: you read my mind

Hair and nails do not grow after death!!! LOL!! That's an ancient ives tale kept alive by horror movies!
Here is just a couple of experts explaining the reason for the myth-
Do hair and nails grow after death?

No. However, the skin dries after we die and retracts which may give the appearance the fingernails and hair have become longer.

Myth: Hair and fingernails continue to grow after death

Fact: The phenomenon that hair and nails continue to grow has a serious spook factor -- but is just an illusion, said Dr. Kitha Griffin, a dermatologist in private practice in Atlanta. "After death, the skin surrounding the hair and nails will shrink and decompose at a greater rate than the hair and nails themselves," she said.

Alrighty then. Now I've got to visualize decomposing skin.

thanks for sharing the link... those ladies hair are beautiful but I don't think I'll want hair that long... I also like the link about hair tips for long hair.

Those pictures were very unsettling. I don't see the appeal :ohwell:

@mermaid: I remember hearing that explaination on CSI

Just as it sounds - nothing subliminal. You thought you had long hair, check out the length of these people's hair.

What kind of title for a thread on this site is that?

I think hair maybe 1 inch past BSL is good and long enough for me. I don't want to be sitting on my hair or having my hair dragging on the ground picking up dirt. I am already starting to experience issues with my hair snagging on my necklace from time to time or the sofa.

I agree, these ladies' hair lengths are a bit extreme and not quite my style or aspiration.

Yeah that hair is way too long. Some of it looked all frizzy and unhealthy. I dont know if i would go to waist length hair. I am 5'8 so that would be alot of hair for me.
