My SO is starting to mess with my stash of products :( I recently got my Qhemet Biologics moisturizers and he has been using them DAILY. I'm going to have to hid it from him eventually...lol

He no longer uses that dreadful motions pink moisturizing lotion... He's even asking me about shampoos and conditioners.

So true! I noticed DH had been using my Jane Carter Nourish & Shine daily and God knows whatever else...I bout had a fit! Nah bro, this $20 jar of smell good ain't just for shine...I kindly passed him an old unused jar of Mizani hair cream and said help yourself. You have to use the reverse psychology...buy something cheap and tell him how great it is and leave it out in plain view...that ought to show him;-).

Just ask him to purchase the next order so you can share :)

That's when they probably give every excuse in the book and say no, that's for your hair, I can live without it smh

I pass all the stuff that don't work to him and he takes it but at least I feel better because it's not going in the trash and I will gladly help to apply it for him too

I just gave him Burt's bee almond 2 minute deep conditioner and his hair was squeaky clean lol, I'm talking bout no moisture. I felt bad so I applied my motions conditioner and essential oils and it was soft after, but now he looking forward to using my stuff... Burt's bees is like putting dish detergent on your hair! I told him to trash it and he said no at least it cleans his hair, so he stuck with my junk oh well!!

My man is confused by it all. Yesterday, I finally got the nerve to ask him to take a hair pic for me while I was wearing my new progress tshirt. At first he was nonchalant, then I turned around.

Him: Your shirt has inches on it?!
Me: Just take the pic... wait comb my hair first (handed him a comb)
Him: What is this? Is this for that online hair cult?
Me: Comb my hair and take the pic, dangit!
Him: Alright, but don't drink the koolaid.

Oh no! is that what outsiders think of us? lmao

My SO knows I'm always about improving my hair. If I'm not on the forum I'm on YouTube looking at hair videos of heatless ways to style my hair and better moisturizing conditioners and leave ins

Hilarity! My boyfriend probably thinks the same thing but doesn't say it like that. He just wanted to know when I'm going to wear my hair in that BIG style (twist out). I have my natural hair in small individual braids right now, keeping them untangled, great for cowashing, and easy to hide under my wig for work.

My boyfriend doesn't want me to cut either but knows I need to maintain with trims and didn't mind when I BCed, he actually liked my twa.

He has used some of my shampoos and was disturbed when they didn't lather up. My big bottle of Aussie Moist is in the shower so I think he has taken to cowashing and not realized it. He has also taken my huge tub of olive oil eco styler (he has 2a hair) and when I suggested giving it to my friend with 3c hair, he said she could buy her own :look: He is in the cult whether he admits it or not! LOL

My SO has gone from complaining about the products I have to using my products, claiming he is helping me 'use up my stash'. Sorry bobo, I didn't ask for your help. He only uses products I keep in the shower so I am going to have to take things out of the shower and just bring in what I want when I want to use it.

My DH used to complain about my stash but mpw he likes buying me stuff :) his only complaint now is he wants to watch his hard earned money pay off and I'm on a hide my hair thingy but he does enjoy my length checks just ad much as I do

My husband can tell me about who needs a trim, more protein, shed hairs, more moisture, texlaxed, Wen, Wen, Wen, 613, product junkies, BSL, MBL, HL, SL, and APL. Let's just say, he's one of us. Lol, LOL

He also inquires about what I have used and done to my hair weekly.

LOL!! I just said that I'm going to do that and my hubby said "damn why gotta be so selfish??"

I spent TOO much money on this stuff for it to be gone in a 2 weeks because it's servicing two big heads. No sir.

That's the things when you school them on good products they want to use it all up smh. Just today I washed his hair and used a bottle of essential oils I got from whole foods and he is talking bout keep it out he want to use it. Nah ah when he paid 18 dollars for that bottle, I know he brought it but still...it's mines

My hubby says that all the time yet I find a way to conveniently lose the product  Why you gotta use up all my GOOD stuff? Go back to that pink lotion you swore by!

My hiusband initially freaked out when I did the BC. But now that I have been natural almost a year he has grown to love my hair. I joke with him sometimes about going back to a relaxer. He is not too fond of that idea...

He prefers that I keep it braided now so that I can retain more length. He does not get into products that I use much...

My FH is really supportive he was Leary about my BC but now he's so into the current events of my hair and plans to make MBL in 2 more years he listens to all of my hair plans and contributes to my protective styling (weaves/wigs) bc he knows it's a good cause and he pays attention to my hair talk to relay good hair practices to his teen daughter ;-)

My SO knows about my plans to grow my hair back to my waist.

A few weeks ago i told him i felt like i needed a haircut. The shape of my hair is growing out.

He was like "No haircut"...and i was all *sigh*...but i do want to do a weency bit of dusting on my next flat ironing session.

Wonder how he'll take that?

My SO was in the gym and this girl is relaxed and wanted to dye her hair but she didn't know the time spans so he told her and she was o yeah your right and he said he realized after the fact he sounded gay lol
