Hello Ladies! Welcome to the vinyl glove challenge/experiment.
I have been using vinyl gloves for the past few weeks while detangling and finger combing. I noticed less breakage and loved the way my fingers would glide through my 4abc hair.
Some of the advantages some of the ladies have pointed out are their manicures last longer. Snags on nails don't rip out hair and products don't get lodged under fingernails.
This challenge will last 30 days starting officially June 9, 2012.
There will only be 2 rules.
The first is to use vinyl disposable gloves. Latex and rubber are grippy and break down with oils. Nitrile are very expensive and not quite as slippy. There are some specialty gloves that stylists use that are reusable and have slip.
The second rule is to please share your experience. Let us know how you used the gloves and what for. Give your opinion. You can use the gloves just for finger combing, detangling, applying products, grooming or styling.
Thanks Ladies for participating. I have had great results. I need every little bit of help I can get and I hope you benefit as well.
