Hey yall! I'm getting braids tomorrrow with kanekalon hair and wanted to know what recs you all have for a good hair moisturtizer/cream or gel to use when braiding to add shine and control frizzies. I prefer something without cones and if it is a gel, a non-drying one. TIA!
When i use to get my hair done at the shop, the most they used was
A gel, like Jam or Smooth n shine for the edges
Grease--for the parts
Leavein liquid spray or braidspray once finished for the braids
Oil sheen once finished for the braids
Sometimes i would come in with airdryed or blowdryed hair w/no product, and they would tell me it was to dry, and they would put grease wallbash, oil, or a regular hair creme on my hair.
Other times i would come in with already moisturized hair, and they would tell me it was too greasy and oily rolleyes
