Sorry if this question has been asked before, but my endlessly inquiring mind wants to know how the majority of you style your hair on a regular basis.
I rollerset weekly and wear my hair out everyday because my hair is too thin to bun nicely and I suck badly at braidouts. I'm still hoping I will retain some length but i'm not expecting a lot cause my ends hang on my shirts daily. Oh wait, maybe I can solve this problem by wearing satin and silk shirts everyday Lol!
I mainly did wng's (with no real styling) for the past 2.5 years, but starting today I'm going to rollersetting, protective styling and super low manipulation (washing and detangling every 2 weeks) a try. Or at least I will try to give it a try .
wash n go pony tail or a messy type of bun in the spring and summer. Flat ironed and down all winter and fall, only pulling it back when its close to washing time and my hair has lost all fullness.
Im in a weave about 90% of the time but I'm learning to rock my natural "texlaxed" hair. I'm having a great time rocking "natural styles" so far. I just love the versatility. But my love for hair that belongs to other people is starting to emerge again..
I wear wash n go's most of the time but when I'm able to pull my hair into a bun comfortably, I will do wet buns. I actually like the way buns look so I can't wait until I have one. I straighten about 2-3 times a year and when my hair is straight I can get it into a ponytail to bun.
since I BCed I pretty much just let me hair do w/e since its not long enough to rub up against against anything and its pretty much an afro. But back when I was relaxed I did a protective styling... usually a bun
I normally wear a bun during the week and a braidout on the weekend. Lately I havent been going anywhere imp I've been keeping my hair in 4 braids during the week (wearing a hat or wig if need-be) and braidout on weekend
I part my hair on the side and then braid it in two french braids and then pin the ends on the sides. I really like this style.
It looks best when I braid it wet after co-washing. However, it's always really dry when I take them down in the evening. So I need to work on that, I guess.
