I did the Google search thing for about a year until disaster struck (a texlax gone bad in '09). I joined the site a little over one year ago and got rid of my texlaxed hair. Now I'm almost APL and my strands appear healthy.

I have been on here for nearly 6 years. I spent the first 4 years trying every product under the un and jumping on every bandwagon. I made little to no progress during that time.

It wasn't until I figured out that I would have to stop relaxing in order to make progress that I started to get somewhere. My hair and scalp could not handle a relaxer.

If I had figured that out in 05 or 06, I could probably have been MBL or WSL by now.
 
I've been here for a year and three months. Lurked for a month before I joined. Wish I had known about this site sooner.
 
I've been lurking since August of 2009, but never paid my subscription until 1 year afterward on August 2010. I went on my official hair journey beginning January 2010. 16 months and I'm almost at my second milestone!
 
Wow since April 05. I was first relaxed and then started texlaxing. Now I'm natural and unfortunately still haven't reached my goal of mid-back.
 
3 years in June and I'm still at SL :nono: Granted I started out with NL perm, did the BC in Nov/08, it grew nicely for a while (pregnancy may have helped) and then it became too much for me to handle and I texlaxed in Mar 08, and I'm currently at SL :nono:
 
I lurked for about six months in 2005 and joined in 2006. It really doesn't seem like that much time has past. I have learned some many things which is what keeps me coming back day after day.
 
I've been lurking since about 2008 I believe... but I've just got a subscription to post and take advantage of the other features ^o^
 
almost 2yrs but I lurked a few months before paying my membership and then I lost my password to my first username so I created a new account when I decided to pay.
 
I started lurking around summer 2007, but i didn't actually become a paid member until Dec 2008. So I only count from the time I became a paid member because that's when i started getting really serious about my hair. So about 2.5 years
 
Since 2005, but then again you already know that! I joined a bunch of hairboards right after my big chop-- napturality led me here (they were a little bit too serious about the natural stuff)!
 
I found LHCF in 2006 just after I became natural, so 5 years ago. I joined other forums around the same time but LHCF is the only board I still frequent. I've learned a lot here and have been entertained a lot over the years. I think I'll still be around for a while :).
 
I have been on this helpful website for 1 year; but i was lurking for about 3 months b4 joining up.
ya know i was just drooling over all the beautiful heads of hair i saw here.... thinking

" I need me some of that"
