They're a pain and they tend to lead to broken strands because they're hard to get out.
My hair actually does straighten out from the blowdryer but it doesn't last. I have to flatiron it in order for it to stay sleek-looking for any real length of time.. In the album I have the picture of the dryer and the Conair iron (cheap $14 one bought at Target). You can see in the first few pics of my hair how it looked after blowdrying. Then you see the pics from the next day after I flatironed.DDtexlaxd said:Please tell me if you had to use a flat iron to get your hair strait after using this iron? What flat iron do you have? Your hais looks like it was relaxed.![]()

Your mom was on my mind the other day. Tell her I said hi please. Your hair looks wonderful. It is so beautiful and healthy. Now I am torn between buying the brush or maxiglide. It seems that you use the brush to just blowdry your hair but have to follow up with a flat iron. I want to straighten my hair today for the holidays. I don't know what to buy.

Cybra says hello back!I keep telling her about folks asking about her...
I've always blowdried before flatironing--I can't flatiron natural hair that hasn't already been straightened out, and my hair hair won't stay straight from blowdrying alone. I found it easier to do a good job blowdrying using the brush than with my other dryers.
  Great hair!!!!
