Hi ladies. After the last 3 or 4 shampoos, everytime I use my flat-iron, my hair just will not straighten. It will do SLIGHTLY better if I turn up the heat, but I don't want to do that.
I am using it at the same temperature that I always have. What gives!!??
Can you guys tell me if you have ever heard of something like this?
I was thinking that ONCE AGAIN
, I have gotten overmoisturized. The last time I did use Aphogee hard-core, but I did not let it get hard that much. It was good right after that, but my hair was DRYYY. I don't think I want to deal with that again and I am going to use lighter proteins. That treatment was about 4 weeks ago.
But, overmoisturization is the only thing I can think of that has caused this issue. At this point I feel like it is pointless to apply heat at all if it is not going to work. Well, I can't really say that - I do get it straighter with less frizz than just leaving it airdried, but with all of this humidity, you can imagine what it looks like after a few days.
I am mostly texlaxed, BTW. My ends are bone straight.
