Thanks Divine you just gave me an idea when my curlformers curls start to fall I can pull my hair up with one.

Awesome pictures.

I need to get one for myself i'm obsessed with beak clips but they don't have any teeth.

Nice pics OP!
I use banana clips to make my french rolls, it's definitely a lot easier and more secure than using 1001 bobby pins to 'hold' my natural hair in place. *lol* The 1st pic on the left in my siggy is an example. I plan to experiment more with them come spring/summer.

I recently fell in love the with banana clips too, here is my style that was inspired by pookaloo, I used about 6 fray flexi rods and placed the clip to the side a bit

I actually don't like banana clip ponytails but I'm gonna try out that french roll!!

I love banana clips...although I can't fit all my hair into one. I usually leave some out in the bottom cuz my hair is really thick. It looks great when I put my flexirod sets up in banana clips.

i love wearing my banana clip. i do the loose pony, banana clip, remove scrunchie method. i still cannot use them on unstraightened hair though. it is always extremely taut and painful, then it just snaps apart. i only use em when my flatironed hair is in its last days. ♥

Very Cute Ladies, i may have to bring mine out and use them thanks for the styling ideas.

I think my hair would break a banana clip. So many things have popped and snapped out of my hair. Your hairstyles are cuuuute and I wish I could wear them :)
I understand because my hair breaks them like crazy. And I hate that because they were so convenient for me.

Just played around with one tonight on my airdried hair.

I got a banana clip to stay in my un-straightened natural hair!!! I found the pack of 3 clips @ Walmart for $3-$4 & they un-clip at the top and bottom making them easier to put in :yep:

WooHoo!!!!!

I bought one a couple of months back. Have used it just a few times, because I find it hard to put on, but thanks to the ponytail tip mentioned by Charmtreese, I'll try to use it more often! :)

I looooove banana clips :yep:, but don't have many pics. I use then when my twistouts/braidouts get old, or just after a caruso set.......

You can pick them up @ just about any beauty supply store for a buck. Walmart & Target probably carries them as well. Also Sally's has some like these that may work better if you have thicker hair:

HTH!

I broke one just like this one (it broke at the bottom while I was at work. )

The trick to not breaking them is by putting your hair in a pony tail first, close the clip around the ponytial, and then take the pony tail down and fluff hair!!! Trust me this works!!

I do this and I've still broken them. :( I actually got all the way to work with it secure and was there for a bit before I heard a snap and reached up and realized it broke :( It was the one above I bought from Sally's.

:yep: This is exactly what I do and my hair is thick!

Me too. I have very thick hair too, but apparently sometimes it doesn't cooperate :(.

Does anyone know where the style of the one posted above is available in a stronger plastic?

I too love my banana clip. The first pic in my sig is a banana clip with a 3-4 day old flexi-rod set. It turns even an old rollerset into a cute updo.

I  my banana clip. It's my go-to style. I've never had a problem with breaking my clip; but then again, mine is made of a plastic that has a little more "give" than the standard banana clip. I bought it years ago, but I can't find another one like it now. :ohwell:

Here's a picture of my clip:

I bought one this week at CVS, and tried it for the first time with a braidout. I wore it to work and it broke on the bottom:ohwell: I was thinking of trying this one I found on eBay for thick hair http://cgi.ebay.com/4-JUMBO-INTERLO...tZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item19b7921b79#****
Anyone tried this?
