I finally used the tallow on my hair. Not half bad lol kinda reminds me of a lighter version of shea butter. And this one doesnt have a smell. Of course I tried it on hair that already has product on it, so I have yet to use it on naked hair, but so far so good.
Okay I'm thinking I might like tallow a LOT lol. I used it instead of grease to seal, and my hair is pretty dang soft lol

That's quite a change. The order of some of the ingredients are a lot further down the line/higher up the list, some completely removed as well as new additions. They may as well have created a new product. BRBC 2.0 is highly likely to be incompatible with a lot of heads due to the changes. I hope I'm wrong, there's nothing worse than something that works for you changing in composition or getting discontinued.

I’m having doubts about this change being positive.

I don’t think I was chosen to beta test the onion line but when it launches I will definitely purchase.

I’m holding out it will magically appear at the house but it’s been a month since I applied.

I'm finally getting around to washing my hair, currently sitting with this on, I've got Skala Mais Cachos sitting under it....

I put a cheapo little shower cap on, followed by a larger foil shower cap, to keep in as much heat as possible, I cannot be bothered to pull out the hood dryer or the blow dryer.

I bought it in anticipation of my shrunken TBL hair needing this in her life, I cannot wait till we can fill this up so it looks like it's just a normal sized shower cap

ETA: I bought a piece of silk satin material to use as a towel, today will be my first time trying it out. I wonder how that's going to go......I'm hoping there's enough material, I'm hoping it works the way I envisaged it to.

I’ve been damp bunning after finding my extreme gel this week and I’m kinda scared of dealing with the consequences once I finally get around to thoroughly detangling. The front of my head actually looks nice with the waves once my scarf has been on a bit.

Anyone just not thoroughly detangle for a while and get away Scott free? I have been careful to only use conditioners with good detangling support so I figure it’s detangling my hair for me. I’m too busy to do much else and styling is much easier if I can just wash it/ damp bun like I used to in my first hair journey.

It also feels so refreshing to have water on my scalp right about now too.

Yes regularly before I got back to regularly doing my hair. I just made sure my roots were wet. I'd use products that gave slip and water.

I used the Redken Extreme Length shampoo and conditioner, SheaMoisture Amla Bond Repair Leave-in (only because I don’t have the Leave-In for the Redken line at the moment) and sealed with Shea butter. My hair is so moisturized and strong feeling. It has a healthy sheen.

I feel some kind of way because I haven’t used a “conventional” line in a loooooong time. I missed it. Interested to see how my twists look when I do them tomorrow.
