Last night I used a large scarf and coconut oil and my hair came out silky smooth. I was so tempted to wear it down today. I think the scarf method is a lot better than wrapping.
Co-signing the crosswrap. I used to traditional wrap and my hair always appeared lop-sided or one side seemed to thrive a little better. I alternated sides also, but still had the same results.
Now, I apply HE LTR and jojoba to the ends, crosswrap, and use two large duckbill clips to hold the length in place.
Once I have my scarf on, I slide the clips out. This keeps my hair straight without that wrappy, wiggy look I used to get with the traditional wrap. I hope it works for you too if you try it.
Did you just have your hair in a ponytail with the scarf method?
any youtube tutorials on crosswrapping?
