I agree with you 100% on that one. In all honesty, her first step toward hair repair is for her to be OK with her (as in grows from her scalp) hair.She wears the lacefront wigs. I think she knows how to make them herself. I remember her saying that in an interview once. She was trying to start a business doing it for people.
I don't think she takes care of her real hair at all. She's one of those women that wouldn't be caught dead without her weave.

I can see twist or little braids in her hair. It looks like at some point she took most of them down. This head would need TLC for sure. I would offer her to first completely take down her braids, maybe first give her a warm rinse or con-wash. Do a overnight pre-poo oil treatment. Next day shampoo with a moisturizing shampoo. Deep protein conditioner, a deep moisturizing conditioner and then moisturize and detangle. Seal with oil. Maybe a trim.....
Yeah I agree, if she doesn't except the responsibility for her own haircare then she won't really change from what she'd doing now.
