Oh Lip Chap. :nono: Someone get her a LHCF subscription, BC, protein treatment, and DC STAT. Said person should also hook her up with a good moisturizer and sealing oil. :drunk:

I can see twist or little braids in her hair. It looks like at some point she took most of them down. This head would need TLC for sure. I would offer her to first completely take down her braids, maybe first give her a warm rinse or con-wash. Just to remove some surface dirt, because that head looks like it hasn't seen a shampoo in years. Do a overnight pre-poo oil treatment. Next day shampoo with a moisturizing shampoo. Deep protein conditioner, a deep moisturizing conditioner and then moisturize and detangle. Seal with oil. Maybe a trim.....

She wears the lacefront wigs. I think she knows how to make them herself. I remember her saying that in an interview once. She was trying to start a business doing it for people.

I don't think she takes care of her real hair at all. She's one of those women that wouldn't be caught dead without her weave.
I agree with you 100% on that one. In all honesty, her first step toward hair repair is for her to be OK with her (as in grows from her scalp) hair. :yep:

Yeah I agree, if she doesn't except the responsibility for her own haircare then she won't really change from what she'd doing now.

Her hair would VASTLY improve within a month's time with this method.

When people wear wigs/weaves for months on end without giving their real hair a break it will be dry and damaged like this. Luckily for her, the prison system has stylists that can hook her up.

If she doesn't opt for a trim or a cut, then she needs to keep it in a ponytail for awhile to restore moisture to the ends.

It's like she only wants the hair on her head to attached to a weave when she doesn't feel like doing the lacefronts.

I don't believe that article. Nah!!!!
But I would cut her hair, I would clarify, deep protein, deep moisture. I would blow it out (i know bad) but in a salon you don't air dry. Either weave it (which would be better because her hair looks damaged) or flat iron it out with a bump, of course it is cut in a style already.

I would give her a facial, microabraision, exfoliate that skin, steam it, pull those black heads out, smack some mac on it, and call it aday.

puff puff with perfume, toss a nice dress on it. and she is made OVER!!!!

OMG!!!! That is the lip chap girl. I would have never guessed from just the photo.

If she is 28, she has lived a very hard life and it shows.
