Okkk yall i am 4 goin on 5 mo. post and i am gettn tired of my wet buns after i co-wash i was diggn it for awhile now its just kinda gettn old. and its not like i have alot of hair to make my bun look full, its kinda scrawny looking.:ohwell:. anyway i was wonderning if any of you ladies co-wash your hair and then use gel to scrunch your hair?? i used to go to a school with maj. white people and they did this, and some black kids did it too but i thought it was because they had good hair. ( silly me, now i noe better ). so my questions are...

Does anyone noe the procedure to to do this style??

And does anyone know what kind of products will work good for this hair style?

Will this style cause me to have a setback??:perplexed

Do a search on the words "scrunching" and "relaxed". There are a lot of threads on this.

i do this a lot in the summer and now since i've started working out. i use gel though. i will either use a creamy leave in conditioner or whatever conditioner i cowashed in. then i'll put castor oil (will make hair really soft and shiny). then just scrunch until i get the look i want. after you get the look you want though DO NOT TOUCH otherwise your hair will get frizy.

I used to do that in high school. I would wash my hair, then use mousse to keep it wavy. I just didn't like how stiff it made my hair.
