Confession:

I've gotten a little TOO good at slipping newly purchased hair products into the house without DH's detection. :biggrin: :cool:
A couple of days ago I put 2 products in my computer bag without blinking an eye and handed the bag to DH, who had lovingly said, "Give it here . .. give me the bag, it's heavy, I've got it. Where do you want it? Upstairs?" To which I replied,:smooches: "Yes, thank you, sweetheart, you're so sweet" while thinking, "yes, the closer to my hair product drawer set, the better." LOL. :biggrin:

It's not a money thing, it's a discussion thing: I don't want to explain why I've bought yet another gel when I already own a so-called "holy grail" gel and a G.O.A.T. gel.:rolleyes: :nono::nono2::pullhair:LOL. In my MIND I know the RIGHTEOUS reason for the purchase. Sometimes (just sometimes, though), I have a hard time making it make sense once I've purchased it. :look: :spinning: :lol: :drunk: So I'd rather just put the product in its proper place from the jump, sans the explanatory conversation:lala:, and keep it movin.' LOL. :meditate: :cool: :biggrin:

My confession is that while picking up my race packet last week, I wondered into the ULTA store that was right next to it. I had to do it, as a reforming PJ, it was only right. Anyway, while in there, it made me greatly appreciate how being in an actual major city gives you access to so much. Like, all the major makeup brands had the entire shade ranges of several products. And in various sizes. If I took both of the ULTA's near me and combined them, they still wouldn't touch half of the store I was in. I didn't buy anything but it's making me think next time I travel there, I should carve out some time to really get some things I might need or like.

@Angel of the North
Umm....so tomorrow's Wednesday!:curtain:

Are you Ready?:eyebrows2:
I've not long got back from work. I've decanted my oil blends, I put the excess in my roots, I'm waiting for my Scala to arrive as I will use that during the take down, hopefully it arrives soon.

If you guys don't hear from me within the next couple of days..... it means I'm trapped under a pile of extension hair :giggle:

Finally was able to order 4 packs of Afro-Kinky human hair, only to receive the delivery and place it on the shelf. I really need to install these twists, so I can get my hands out of my hair; but cowashing with these Skala conditioners feels great.

I will start my install on Friday.
Thats how I ended up with so much hair stuff lol

I just placed myself in timeout. No more new products until I use what I have. I also had the audacity to purchase backups of my favorites, so it will be a while, lol.
Wishing you all the best with that...... :lol:Honestly, I'm struggling not to buy too much, because I know I've got a BSS going on in my bathroom already. There's just so many products I want to try *sigh*

I survived the takedown! It took me 6 hours to remove the braids, another 30 minutes to detangle. Yeah.... That's it for me for today! I've had enough, so I'm bumping wash day to tomorrow.

I was feeling rather pleased with myself for taking time and care with the removal, it's definitely the longest I've ever taken. I was patient and gentle, considering I had the braids in for 7 weeks, there wasn't too much hair loss at the ddetangling stage, so I feel that the extra time and care taken paid off.

ET: correct auto correct typo
