I have much respect and appreciation for the aging process but I don't know why gray hair needs to be a part of it. So I banished mine to whatever circle of h3ll they came from and all is now right in the world. I am very happy and pleased.

As much as I tell myself I want to be, deep down in my heart, I'm not a DIY lady. Mixing a few tablespoons of oil or honey into a deep conditioner is cool but all the teas, pastes, powders, and infusions aren't for me.
Do you regularly visit salons for any services? If the answer is no, then you are a DIY lady. Making your own products is a part of being a DIYer, but not the extent of it. For me, it essentially means that you do most things for yourself. Wash, treatments, roller set, silk press, braids, etc.

Obviously there maybe times when you may need to seek professional advice or might want to treat yourself to a service at a salon. I very rarely visit a salon for anything, and completely regard myself as someone who DIY my hair care.

I am keen to make my own prepoos, butter whips and gels, but I have no intentions of making my own shampoo or conditioners. I won't be ready to make my own products until I've locked down my staple products.

I'm strictly talking about products when I mention DIY.
