Boyfriends say the funniest things...

My boyfriend has type 3a/3b hair and about 2 inches of length all around. I told him that I wanted to give him a protein treatment tonight as well as a really good deep conditioning treatment. I was informing him of the process...shampoo wash...protein treatment...conditioning treatment...adding the leave-ins followed by diffusing his hair. He gave me a puzzled look and with a dead-straight face said, "Is my hair upset?...is there a situation that I need to know about?. why do things need to be diffused?!"
Ladies...I almost choked on my saliva...he’s too cute for words...needless to say I had to explain to him what a diffuser attachment was..lol

Getting them hooked is the best thing ever....then at least they don't complain about the time or amount of money you spend in the BS supply. S/O actually put two bottles of Knot Today in my valentines basket because he noticed that my stash was running low and he saw it on the display at whole foods.

The funny thing about this entire situation is he has been utilizing the “Curly Girl Method” his entire life without even knowing it…he washes his hair with a sulfate free shampoo about once every month and uses Neutrogena Triple Moisture Conditioner as a leave in every day. He has been doing this since he was in high school and that man has the prettiest curls ever. Lately he has noticed some shedding and asked me what he should do about it. I felt his hair and it was way too soft…hence the need for a protein treatment, which prompted his confused reaction to the diffuser…lol

I bought Shea Moisture Organic Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Style Hair Milk a couple months ago and he is hooked. He loves how "well it absorbs and leaves it his hair moisturized." I have to agree. I gave my DH a moisture treatment and scalp massage and he loved it. My hair day is usually on Sundays and everytime I start looking for my products something is "missing"

I was one of a handful to naturals in college but now that I am gone my boyfriend goes around giving "hair talks" to other girls! Like, "You shouldn't be getting a relaxer. You should go natural. My girlfriend is natural "

Had to bump this because this morning my boyfriend told me my hair looked comfortable. When I asked him what the hell, he replied it is soft and full like a pillow. I guess that is a nice comment
