I really enjoy the DE Almond & Avocado shampoo. It really does gently cleanse and detangle my thick coily hair like a dream...

I thought this protective style would last all summer...I'm trying to make it work until the end of July before I go to my family reunion.

but now I don't know what I wanna do with my hair after I take it out....

Any perimenopausal naturals in here? How do you deal? I'm constantly sweating and atp there is no point in straightening my hair. I thought about going back to relaxers until this phase is over :(
That sounds both uncomfortable and annoying. I hope there's some useful advice coming in here for you and anyone else that could use it

I’m just going to accept that I’m going to look like Frederick Douglass this summer
I started a thread, I've not had any takers yet, but I'm hoping to get some recommendations.

I want to do a rollerset, it's been a hot minute since my last one. I know there's plenty of ladies battling humidity out here

I really wish someone would create a 2 in 1 hooded dryer and steamer! I really wanted to update my table top hood dryer and table top steamer. There's not a great deal available though. My dryer should be good, but I definitely want to replace the steamer.

I'd compromise the space for a 2 in one free standing model. I also think if I had to pick a struggle, I'd go with the dryer, as you can generate steam with the heat under a plastic shower cap. Some people use face or clothes steamers too and claim they get the same results.

After all that, I'll probably just buy a new table top steamer :look:

Let us know what you find. Because Dollar Tree items are more than a dollar, I refuse to participate, but I always like seeing what they have.
Definitely understand that! I figure that this may be helpful for those who are trying to tend to their hair on a budget. From what I can tell, they do have the Shea Moisture dupes (shampoo and deep conditioner). I only grabbed the shampoo because my hair doesn't like shea butter and never responds well to Shea Moisture's deep conditioner. Also, the size of the deep conditioner is super small. They also have dupes for the Native shampoo and for Organix shampoos.

They also have Ecostyler dupes, a dupe for Wetline gel, and a dupe for Gorilla snot. I passed on all of those because I don't need them (I currently have like 4 jars of Ecostyler for no good reason lol). They also have dupes for The Doux gels ( at least that is what they say, I don't know about that though).

Because I am on a wash and go kick, I'm trying to trim costs where I can. I went in and grabbed the V05 Kiwi clarifying shampoo (which is the best) and the Strawberries and Creme moisturizing shampoo. I also grabbed the dupe for the Native body wash (the key lime scent. There are other scents, but I hated the smell ).

From what I can tell, (Generally A) Dollar Tree is trying to step their game up since they have increased their prices.
