Spirit: Read the Word and Pray daily, spend more time in the Word of God, be more active in the ministry I know He has called me to
Hair: BSL by the end of 2007
Fitness: Loose 5-8 pounds, tone up, exercise atleast 4x per week
Diet: Since getting married I eat too much carbs because of my hubby so less carbs, sweets, and no fried stuff except maybe monthly
Other: Make time to do things I enjoy (writing, singing, reading)
I forgot I want to get my demo done and out to recording contact by March of next year.
I will post my regimens in my fotki once I figure them out.

I am in!
Skin: Get rid of dark spots, and brighten up the eye area. Drink more water!
Hair: I'm transitioning right now, so its all about keeping the natural locks healthy and strong. Drink more water.
Financial: Stop ordering things on ebay. Start a college budget.
Body: I'm skinny, but I am as firm as a jello cup. Definitely firm up the buttocks. I'm also on the Sweet Success Schedules. Oh, drink more water!
Spiritual: Get in touch with my spirituality, and let go of meaningless objects and ideas.
School/Work: Remeber those darn math formulas. Work harder in french class. Finish writing my screenplay.
Social: I am so socially awkward. I need to improve my speech/confidence in front of people.

I'm definitely in!

My Goals:

Spiritual - read, study and pray every day, keeping my eyes towards heaven.
Character - work on my temper
Hair - mid back length and healthy by end of the Year
Fitness - lose 10 lbs and tone
School - Get in Law School
Relationships - Grow closer to God and my family. Do my part in building a strong and lasting relationship with my s/o.

There will more goals of course.

I plan on achieveing all listed below by december 2007. I also plan to document my actions, successes and problems encountered and how I worked out the problems in my journal. Hopefully i will be able to document my hair progress in a fotki aswell

Hair

I aim to be all natural, APL when stretched and if i decide to continue relaxing APL unstretched. I plan on gaining 1/2 - 1 in per month as opposed to 1/4 - 1/2.

Skin

I aim for a clear, even skin tone

Diet

My diet will be reflective of the aims which i which to achieve. I.e more fruit (particularly those high in anti -oxidants), veg (particularly those high in sulfur and B vitamins), protein, hair shakes (if anyone has any recipes that has aided them in their hair growth let me know :p )

Lifestyle

Work hard but have fun turn, keep loved ones close and ditch trifling so called friends that are not going to help you grow for good. Make the most of opportunities that come my way. Remain positive, a positive outlook on life gives me extra boost of strength for my self in all things i encounter and enables me to give support and encouragement to those in need. Always keep focused on the important things in life.

Education

Strive for the best degree i can get which ultimately means ALOT of hard work. Continue with my French course; by the December 2007 I want to be a confident speaker and listening of the french language.

Spirtual

Remember God in all that I do, attend church more regularly; give thanks and praises for the gifts and blessings in my life

I would like to join.....
My goals are

HAIR - To be more healthy, also at least apl all over. Sticking to one line, AVEDA DR Shampoo and Conditioner, and AVEDA elixer leave in. Low to no heat..Taht's going to be tough:perplexed

BODY - I've joined Weight Watchers and I need to join the gym:look: I want to lose about 30 more lbs.

SKIN - be more consistant with skin care

CAREER - I've just retired from the Air Force, and need to start really focusing on Chapter 2 of my life, being a Personal Chef

SPIRITUAL - I think I've found a Church I like, just need to get myself there:lol: I also want to get back into yoga more consistently

PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS - renew old friendships and put more effort into current ones...

I am really bad at sticking to things so hopefully this will help... I need a kick in the pants:D :eek: :lachen:

I told myself I needed to get it together for the '07 anyway, and I've been making gradual changes for the last month....but I want to be in this challenge, mmkay?

Hair By December 2007, I want to have BSL length, HEALTHY, EVEN Hair. I still do not know if I want to be relaxed or natural by then, but I want it to be healthy, one way or the other. I want to know how to style my OWN hair, and not rely on a stylist to do it. I also want to have a regimen & staple products that work for me.

Body My body is the major hurdle that I want to tackle for 2007. want to lose the 100 pounds that are stalking me right now, and tone up. I want to lower my BP, cholesterol, Blood sugar, and A1C. I want to do a complete lifestyle change to include revamping my diet and excercise habits. I have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, and a lot of the problems with my hair, skin, body would go away, or at least drastically decrease if I ate a lot better and excercised a lot more. I will have section for this weight loss journey in my fotki..not open to the public yet, but soon. I'm also going to be doing the Body for Life Challenge (get the book, or go to the website..very motivating!)

SKin I don't have a really MAJOR problem with my skin, despite the fact that I have PCOS, but I'd like to minimize my pores and have a GOOD skin care routine, and also get in the habit of wearing sun screen every day
 
Hey, I've been stalking this thread since it first appeared and today is the day that I commit to it! Please add my name to the role.

Hair Goal:I'm in the 2007 LHCF BOOT CAMP Challenge and that will pretty much have my hair covered. My main goal is to retain as much length as possible in 2007 while maintaining hair health.

Skin Goal:I need a skin care regimine. I would like to work on shrinking my pores, clearing up blemishes, evening my skin tone. I'd like for home facials with microdermabrasian treatments to part of my new regimine along with the lemon juice and baking soda treatments and coffee facial scrubs. I will exfoliate more often by doing full body scrubs. I also have ugly feet issues that I need to address and do something about...if anyone has any tips or suggestions, please PM me.

Health and Fitness Goal:Right now I am 168lbs and I want to lose 20lbs and decrease my BMI. I will accomplish this by maintaining a healthy diet and increasing my fruit, vegetable, and water intake. I will eat baked/broiled/grilled fish at least once per week. I will also put myself on a workout regimine. I have bought plenty of workout videos and systems...taebo, wondsor pilates, turbo jam, etc...I need to actually start using them for them to work and do me any good. I also need to be able to do at least 20 pushups and 60 situps to make sure I can pass my APFT.

Financial Goal:I need to get my credit issues straightenend out and spend more time in the Financial Forum. I also need to save money. My goal by the end of the year will be 10% in 401k and 20% in savings until I have enough money in savings to cover at least 3 months of living expenses and then I'll flip them so that I have the bigger percentage going to my 401k. I also need to get my spending under control and look into starting my own business.

Education Goal:I need to go back to school and continue to pinch away at my BS.

That's all I could think of for now. I'll come back and add to it if there is anything else that I feel I need to work on strongly enough to make it apart of this challenge. I have the potential to be more than fabulous in many, many ways...I need to work this challenge and make it a reality.

i don't know if y'all know, but the reason i am "from36to38" is because i'm turning 36 soon and i'm taking 2 years off from my "life" to obtain my personal best, or at least get well on the road to obtaining it...

MY BODY:
lose 100 pounds
MY HAIR:
get to bra length
MY HEALTH:
-have no illnesses/pre-diseases
-obtain inner-peace and happiness
MY LIFE:
-get degree
-get organized
-get to traveling

i feel like if i can start these things going, everything else should pretty much fall into place...

MY SKIN
I want clear even tone skin by 2007, I want my neck and the dark skin around my nose to lighten up. I also want my stretch marks to be lightened and smooth out.

MY TEETH
I want to have my front gap closed and spacing inbetween my bottom teeth and I want to get invisaline braces. I also want my teeth bleached as well.

MY BODY
I want to finish losing weight, toning my body and gaining leaner muscles. my weight loss goals are to lose 100 lbs by losing 2lbs a week. I want to excercise 3-4 times a week . I want to eat healthier as far as more fruits, veggies and drinking water.

FINANCES
Start saving with 403 plan or with a Roth IRA
Start paying my student loans

MIND
I want to be stress free, concentrate more, meditate and get finished with my 3 year masters program.

Below are my physical goals, my financial, career, mental, emotional, educational etc. goals will be listed in my blog linked in my siggie.

By December 31, 2007 I will:

- have blemish free skin (dermatologist treatments)
- have whiter teeth (bleaching)
- have more muscle definition (continue working out and eating well)
- have 2020 vision or better (lasik, lasek or prk surgery)
- have my hairline/temples filled in (dermatological treatments and a good hair regimin)
- have healthy strong hair, length unimportant as long as it's healthy

my face would be to clear up all spots, I want smooth skin that glows
body, to look leaner, develop muscle tone on arms and legs also stomach

I will spend special time with each of my children every day. They get to choose the activity.

I will keep in touch with professional and personal contacts. (make one 15-20 minute call per day)

Body/Health
I will exercise 3-5 times per week.

I will eat healthy nourishing meals as often as possible. At least one juice/liquid fasting day per week. And two vegetarian days per week.

Lose 25-30 lbs. (Get to premarriage weight)

Career/Business/Finance
Write one article per week.
Write something everyday.
Continue developing online newsletter
and increase subscriber base.
Teach at least one seminar/class
Finish writing my manuscript (s).

Use journal to provide updates

Career/Business/Finance
I want to do well in preparing for my MBA studies starting in August.
I want to finish paying off my student loans.
 
This is a great idea. Please count me in on this challenge. I really want to take some time to think about my goals and regimen, so I will post those later.

ETA My Goals:

Hair: Strong and healthy - length is not the goal BUT I want in on da flo' ya'll - lol
Skin: My current routine seems to wurk (need a lil less exfoliation) so I am stickin to it - til my skin changes AGAIN...
Health: I take my vits consistently BUT I struggle fuggle with that 80 oz o water...not that I dont like it...
Spirit: Back to daily meditation and yoga
Career: Publish a book (self pub if I have to) of my very own
Social: Go on a date...at least one

That is it. I think I will have journal but only for challenge membahs...

Count me in. This is just the Challenge I have been looking for that incorporates everything in one!

Hair-I would like to stick with my healthy hair regimen and eventually have long, healthy and stron hair.

Skin-Continue my current skincare regimen and make sure I follow it every day and night.

Spirtual-I want to work on attending church regularly.

Body/Health-Get into excersice and fitness. I need to lose a few pounds and eat healthier.

I remember there was a thread a while back called "Are you That Girl", basically I want to become "That Girl" again. So hopefully with the help of everyone in this challenge i can make it happen. Wish me luck and good luck to all the ladies in this challenge. :)

Just post what goals you would like to set for yourself, so we all know who we can turn to for help and keep each other inspired. I think it is best to start up gradually, so many things will be a habit by the time we officially start.
 
Ok I finally came up with my goals
here they are-

Hair
I want my hair to reach close APL by the end of the year. I plan on reaching this through limited heat, frequent washing, stretching relaxers, self trimming and protective styling. Using a minimalists approach.

Skin
I want to clear up and even out skin tone.
I plan on doing this through regular exfoliations, sun block, and weekly mud masks.

Body
I want to increase muscle mass and lose 30 lbs to reach my goal of 120 lbs. Plus improve my cardiovacular health. I plan on working out with cardio 3x per week for at least 30 minutes-increasing monthly until I reach 60 minutes. and 3x per week with strength training.
Plus, eating fruits and veggies to minimum daily requirement and drinking a minimum of 6 cups of water per day. Weighing and measuring myself weekly for progress.

Spritual
I want to have closer relationship with God and learn the Word in deeper context through daily devotionals and prayer. Continue to attend church regularly.
Family

Spend more quality time with my family.

Other
come out of my shell and meet more people.
Learn to shop for clothes and how to fit clothes on my body type.
